Long Haul Truck Driver
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $61,000.00 Yearly for 60 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: No experience
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Flatbed
Type of Travel: Long-haul, Provincial/territorial
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Perform preventive maintenance, Perform emergency roadside repairs
