Logistics Coordinator, Paarl, Cape Winelands. Our client is a popular and well-established South African export wine brand. They focus on the UK and European markets. They have a vacancy for a Logistics Coordinator based in Paarl area.

Responsibility: The incumbent will report directly to the UK based Financial Manager.

Responsibilities: Bulk wine movement tracking and reconciliation. Stock holding reconciliations. Cost accounting support.

Sales order processing including: Processing of all incoming orders. Order management. Logistics/ Transport/ Delivery to depots and/ or facilitation of collections. Obtaining proof of delivery. Transaction processing. Manage and present, daily and weekly reports. First point of contact for customer queries. It is a new position and the role will change in line with the requirements of the business.

Experience: 3 to 5 years comparable experience. Excellent communication skills. Problem solver. Excel skills are non-negotiable, and knowledge of computer accounting software will be advantageous. A cost accounting qualification will be a distinct advantage. Available to work UK hours.
