JOB DESCRIPTION:

• We are currently seeking a Software Developer fluent in Microsoft development technologies to provide software solutions that meet client needs.
• The Software Developer will work with individuals and teams from various public health disciplines, so software solutions will need to meet the needs of this diverse group.
• The size of these projects can be just as varied, ranging from a one person implementation or a team effort.
• These solutions require full-life cycle, front-end to back-end development that range from multi-tiered web based software that can be viewed on mobile devices to resident windows apps.
• This position may be based in Atlanta, GA or Durham, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for gathering requirements, detailed system analysis, creating requirements and detail design documentation
• Analyze, design, and coordinate the development of software systems
• Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements into task specifications
• Implement efficient solutions to meet requirements
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical people in a professional manner
• Unit test all program code to ensure logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate
• Conduct and participate in code walkthroughs
• Document code consistently throughout the development process
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Development tools (i.e., Visual Studio, TFVC)
• Interface with quality assurance staff to ensure solid end product
• Experience and Skills:
• The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant software development experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.

STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED:

• C#,Visual Studio 2010 and above
• SQL Server 2008 and up,SQL Server Compact Edition
• Entity Framework 4.0 and above
• LINQ to Entities,jQuery,ASP.MVC,ASP.NET,Windows Forms
