Business Developer Required, Goodwood, Northern Suburbs. Introduction: A well established company based in Cape Town has a position available for a Business Developer for aggressively exploring and growing opportunities   for new and existing business. The Business Developer will have the opportunity to work across multiple industries in a dynamic environment at a market related salary plus a commission incentive/company share.

Responsibilities: New business development. Find and manage new leads. Build relationships with clients. Contact and follow up with prospective clients. Prepare and present weekly sales reports. Assist in compiling presentations, pitch material, and proposals in connection with business development. Assist in the development of sales strategies. Constantly and proactively look for ways to improve efficiencies through performance, communications, procedures and systems.

Assist in aggressively increasing sales revenue. Making recommendations for management on test business practice, service offerings, price etc. Continuously work towards improving the client experience and service delivery.

Requirements: Minimum tertiary degree / post graduate degree. Minimum 5 year working experience required. Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal). High level of critical, analytical and logical thinking to identify underlying  facts, reasons and principles. Proficient in MS Office, must be highly computer literate. Team player but also able to work independently. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to meet deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Friendly and energetic. Passionate about sales & marketing. Creative and on-trend. Good time management skills. A desire and passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving skills. Personal drive, professionalism and integrity. Good communication skills in English – verbal and written. Previous classical/creative sales experience. Hard working and self motivated. Must be business orientated and have an aggressive business personality.
