HVAC Project Engineer, City Centre, Cape Town, A well-established air-conditioning company,  is currently looking for a HVAC Project Engineer / Project Manager to join the team in their building services division.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience with the following Responsibility: Cost Control & Tendering. Project Management & Handover. Managing HVAC Projects (design & implementation). Meeting with suppliers regarding materials. Maintenance schedules being adhered to Managing of all invoicing. Executing of activities within area of responsibility and ensuring compliance. Define list of activities and deliverables.

Coordinate activities in accordance with project schedule. Manage engineering spares and equipment repair. Manage maintenance expenditure and budgets. Optimize equipment availability. Procurement of Equipment & Logistics. Drawing up of tender specifications, bill of quantities for tenders and drawings of hvac systems. Managing of sub-contractors and suppliers

Attend site meetings. Site-Coordination of Services. Manage of workshop drawings. Interaction and correspondence between builder, design engineer, architect and other service providers.

Quality Inspections. Equipment Validation. Programming. Financial Reporting and Cost Control. Adherence of Specifications with building contractors & services. Management of procurement process. Managing of day to day activities.

Qualifications: Matric, B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech / NDip (Mechanical Eng)

Courses:  Project Management will be adv. Experience with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning & fire systems for commercial & industrial industries. Computer Literate:  AutoCad. Also, must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, good problem solving skills, be client focused, solutions orientated and a team player.
