This is a supervisor level position responsible for the operation of YMHDICI.  Executive Director plans, organizes and directs comprehensive day program, evening program and community base support groups based on the needs of individuals in the community living with mental illness.

Duties:
Responsible for program development and implementation of projects and services for individuals who attend the Yorkton Mental Health Drop-In Centre.
Develop and negotiate financial budgets that are reflective of the project needs.
Monitor project finances to ensure that delivery is conducted within financial means allotted.
Responsible for the development, compilation and dissemination of periodic reports evaluating the project effectiveness.
Responsible for the development of grants and proposals.
Interact with staff and relevant stakeholders in project design, project management, policy and evaluation.
Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate and mentor all staff.
Represent and promote the Yorkton Mental Health Drop-In Centre to service agencies, funding bodies and the local Government.
Maintain liaison with professional and service agencies to maximize opportunities for clients.
Represent Yorkton Mental Health Drop-In Centre within the community and local committees.
Report to Board of Directors as required.
Monitor and develop Agency Policies and Procedures.
Ensure all human resources functions are completed on a monthly, quarterly and annual

Education required:  Bachelor's Degree in the Human Service Field
2 or more years experience would be an asset.
