HVAC Engineer / Project Manager, City Centre, Cape Town. A well-established national air-conditioning firm is currently looking for a HVAC Engineer / Project Manager to join the team in their building services division.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience with the following: Cost Control & Tendering. Project Management. Executing of activities within area of responsibility and ensuring compliance. Define list of activities and deliverables. Coordinate activities in accordance with project schedule. Manage engineering spares and equipment repair. Manage maintenance expenditure and budgets.

Optimize equipment availability: Procurement of Equipment & Logistics. Detailed engineering and value engineering. Manage of workshop drawings. Interaction and correspondence between builder, design engineer, architect and other service providers.

Quality Inspections, Equipment Validation, Programming, Financial Reporting and Cost Control.

Qualifications: Matric, B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech / National Diploma – Mechanical Engineering. Experience with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning & fire systems for commercial & industrial industries. Computer Literate. Also, must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, good problem solving skills, be client focused, solutions orientated and a team player.
