IR Consultant, Other, Durban City. An established Labour Dispute Resolution firm in Durban is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced IR Consultant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide advice and guidance to clients on all Industrial Relations matters. Chair disciplinary cases timeously & fairly. Represent the Company at the CCMA/Bargaining Council in Conciliation matters.
Handle Grievances Pro-active approach in dealing with IR matters. Ensure good Communication with clients. Candidate must be able to provide IR services to a variety of clients across different sectors. Provide support to maintain a healthy IR climate to minimizing the risk of conflict, disputes and industrial action.
Requirements: Diploma / Degree in HRM, Labour Relations, and/or equivalent. Experience in CCMA/bargaining council representation. Good report / letter writing skills. Must have experience in a unionised environment, preferably within the motor industry. Clear credit record and traceable references. Strong IR knowledge and negotiation skills
Strong computer literacy and valid driver’s license. Must be able to work independently and under pressure. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Dispute Resolution.
