Creative Content Strategist wanted, City Centre, Cape Town. Company Name: Social Star.

Social Star, a social media and influencer marketing agency is looking for a young and talented individual to join our team as a Creative Content Strategist.

Your keys roles and responsibilities would include: Idea generation for social media and influencer content on various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, tiktok and YouTube) in the form of content calendars. Writing up, communicating and delegating creative briefs. Sourcing visual and sound input for social media content. Copy writing and caption creation for all social media posts.

Culminating feedback from both the client and the internal team and implementing the changes. Work with the creative team (graphic designers and videographers) by strategizing and delegating social media content creation for various brands. Apply a detail-oriented, attentive approach for what the client wants to achieve in order to execute content that is aligned with the brand’s outcomes. Knowledge of all social media is crucial to the role, as well as flexibility and an eagerness to learn.

Other key information is as follows: Starting date would be 1 August 2020. Role reports to the Operations Manager and Managing Director. Salary ranging between R10 000 to R15 000 per month dependant on work experience. You would require your own laptop, uncapped internet connection and smartphone in order to be considered as most work is currently remote/work from home due to COVID 19.

Position will be on a contract basis, with option to move to permanent after a probationary period
