Salary: $12.00 to $16.00 Hourly for 20 hours per week

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Provincial Teaching Certificate, Membership in a provincial or territorial teachers' association or federation
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Tutoring service
Area of Specialization: Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Computer science, French as a second language (FSL), Physics, Science, Social sciences, Special education
Specific Skills: Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies, Assign and correct homework, Prepare, administer and correct tests, Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials, Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops, Advise students on course selection and on vocational and personal matters, Develop course materials and curriculum content, Provide tutoring assistance
