We are looking for a talented Director of Information Systems & Security. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic, comprehensive cyber security and IT risk management and business continuity program. The position is ideally for Western National.
Skills needed: 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and monitoring a cyber security and IT risk management programs Media or Telecom background is mandatory 5+ years of managerial experience Proven experience developing security strategy, security awareness programs, security architecture, and security incident response Experience of managing the implementation and day-to-day functions related to creating Business Continuity Plans and Procedures, while also managing Disaster Recovery operations within the company Solid knowledge of developing strategic direction, goals, plans and policies for an area of responsibility Responsible for one or more departments or programs
Responsibilities: Provides the direction for data and cyber security protection, and oversee Technology governance and policies Deliver new security technology approaches and implement next generation solutions Provides strategic risk guidance for IT projects, including evaluation and recommendation of technical controls. Evaluates new cyber security threats and IT trends and develops effective security controls. Runs security audits and risk assessments Has full budget responsibilities for respective department/s or program/s Recommends and authorizes policy implementation for the department or program Performs duties within scope of company’s policies, procedures and objectives Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Develops strategic direction, goals, plans and policies for an area of responsibility Sets broad objectives and is accountable for overall results in respective area of responsibility
