An exciting nursing opportunity is available in Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) brand new Post Anesthetic Recovery Room! KGH has expanded and recently opened the new Centennial Tower.
Kelowna General Hospital has moved to a two PARR model that includes 10 new bays and provides surgical services for all major surgeries including open-heart surgery which started in December 2012. Nursing shifts are attractive as the majority of shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday and consist of 7 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
Advanced preparation in the perianesthesia or critical care nursing clinical specialty.
One (1) year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment of a post anesthetic room or critical care environment similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
