Retail Meat Cutter
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $17.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Disability Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Butcher shop, Grocery store, Supermarket and meat department
Type of Equipment: Power grinder, Band saw, Manual cutting utensil
Specific Skills: Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, Remove bones from meat, Cut poultry into parts, Grind meats, Prepare special orders, Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products, Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
Additional Skills: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, Wrap and package prepared meats, Weigh meats for sale, Price meat products, Sell meats to customers, Supervise other butchers and meat cutters, Train meat cutters
