Key Accounts Manager, Bellville, Northern Suburbs. Synopsis: National and well established courier company has vacancies for Key Account Managers. The company is based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

Requirements: Grade 12, Computer literate, Valid drivers license, Own reliable vehicle, Clear criminal and credit backgrounds, Contactable references, Experience in any service related industry.

Purpose of Role: To build outstanding relationships with clients by communicating with them regularly and consistently via telephonic communications, via email and through client visits in order to retain business. To identify further business opportunities with existing clients and work with sales team to ensure that proposals are professionally and accurately prepared and presented to clients.

Personal Attributes & Strengths: should be well spoken and well presented. Should have excellent communication skills, verbally  as well as in writing. Should be structured and organized. Should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Should have excellent problem solving skills.

Responsibilities: To conduct monthly KPI meetings with clients to assess performance levels. To identify underlying challenges and find appropriate solutions. To identify areas of priority and ensure that these needs are met. To assist clients through pro-active and reactive interventions to ensure their satisfaction. To negotiate rate increases in a professional and diplomatic manner.

To keep current and accurate records and provide monthly minutes of meetings to Sales and Retentions Manager. Remuneration: Negotiable. Most recent or relevant salary will be taken into consideration
