Estimation Engineer in Dubai
Salary: 3,000 To 15,000 Monthly (AED)
We require a Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3-7 years prior experience from BE/B.Tech in Civil Eng.
Role will include: To prepare the Bill of quantities for various works to aid the contract estimates, costing and billing. Prepares cost comparison sheets for all supply and Sub-contractor items and pricing for the complete project Attends to Internal Kick-Off Meeting and hand over all the contract documents to the Project team and clarifies all doubts, as and when required To carryout technical evaluation and make recommendation. Prepares details and modifies proposal drawings including sections, plans and elevation diagrams as per instructions provided, in order to process client approvals. Provides preliminary estimation support to estimate quantities from drawings to determine project costs. Prepares details and modifies detailed architectural and structural drawings including sections, elevations, plans, part view etc., in order for the company to get drawing approval of proposed projects from relevant authorities. To be taken quantity, based on the proposed drawings provided by the client. Reviews companies pricing policies and procedures and provides recommendations for improvements Review the contractual documents for preparing quotations Pre bid meeting with clients regarding estimate of project. Study and interpret drawings and technical specifications to develop construction process flows Prepares details and modifies variation drawings and quantities. Prepares as-built drawings incorporating the sub-contractors drawings, in order to present to the client the final as-built drawings. As per requirement, attends meetings with Client/Consultant/Contractor/Sub-contractor for Providing clarifications and explanations. Responsible for documentation, filing, recording revisions for all estimation documents. Reviews shop drawings submitted by the sub-contractors for accuracy, conformity and verifies quantities from the drawings. Visits project sites to reorganize approved drawings at site prior to client/consultant visits to project sites. To stay updated on the present cost of marine contracting services and those services regularly utilized. Keep the updated records of rates for all the materials and services prevailing at UAE. Adheres to ISO accreditation and departmental requirements. Assist if the preparation of progressive invoices Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
