Specialist Physician (Medical Oncologist)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $300,000.00 yearly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Sydney, Nova Scotia (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Medical Council of Canada Examination (LMCC I and LMCC II), Specialty residency training, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Hospital (staff position)
Specialization in Clinical Medicine: Medical oncology
Specific Skills: Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders, Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures, Prescribe medication and treatment, Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases, Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses, Determine appropriate surgical procedures, Perform and supervise surgical procedures, Act as consultants to other physicians
Security and Safety: Eligible for professional liability insurance, Driver's validity license check
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
