Maintenance Technician Water Treatment Plant Dubai
Salary: 4,000 To 6,000 Monthly (AED)
To carry out maintenance work as planned and instructed by the foreman unless otherwise requested by the plant management. To have basic skills in electrical and mechanical work, to be able to carry out basic electrical fault finding and installations as well as being able to carry out basic mechanical installations. To carry out planned, reactive or proactive maintenance work as the need arises always under the instruction of the maintenance foreman or the management. Available to attend plant emergency or critical and urgent repairs. Wear the designated work uniform and apply the personal protective equipment e.g. ear,eye protection, face masks etc as designated by the company. Be knowledgeable of the hazards and health and safety issues of the plant and safety precautions as designated by the company and make sure maintenance work is carried out in safe and responsible manner. Wear uniform and safety clothing/equipment as designated by the company. To assist carrying out a stock check of goods, supplies, chemicals etc. once instructed by the management and fill and submit the appropriate paper forms. Maintain and keep the tools and equipment used in good working order, and keep an organized, clean tool room, workshop and store areas. One instructed by higher-ranking staff, or in the absence of other staff, receive goods delivered to the department, check them (against the relevant order and sign for their delivery. All paper work must be submitted as soon as possible to the administration for further check and approval. Report any irregularities to the management. Notify immediately the maintenance foreman of any irregularities found during work. Have access to spare parts and tools on the stores for maintenance repairs around the plant. Return all tools and spares back to their appropriate place once work is completed each day. Store all tools and equipment in the designated areas, safely and tidy. Report any problems, losses, relating to tools and equipment and cater for their good working order at all times. Other assignment may be designated by the management deriving from other work e.g. investigations / research work carried out or for the improvement and/ or maintenance of plant performance.
