Retail Sales Representative, Other, Cape Town. Electric Wholesalers is looking for an experienced Retail Sales Representative, in the Electrical industry, to provide excellent customer service! Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibility: Greet and engage customers. Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services). Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services. Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing. Cross-sell products. Ensure cabinets are fully stocked. Manage returns of merchandise. Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times).

Inform customers about discounts and special offers. Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager. Stay up-to-date with new products/services. The Sales Representative is seen as a brand ambassador and is also responsible for maintaining the positive image of the store and Electric Wholesalers brand as a whole.

Requirements and Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative or Sales Associate in the Electrical Industry. Understanding of the retail sales process and knowledge of inventory stocking procedures. Familiarity with consumer behaviour principles. Basic math skills and knowledge of MS Office. Track record of achieving sales targets. Excellent command of the English language, great communication skills and capable of building trusting relationships.

Ability to perform in fast-paced environments: Matric / Grade 12. Certificate / Diploma in Sales and / Management will be advantageous. Own vehicle and driver’s license . Be well presented and groomed.
