Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Please note that this is not an Architectural Draughtsman position. Mechanical Draughtsman – Equity. Location: Port Elizabeth. Salary: R25 000 to R35 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification.

 Qualifications / Requirements: 3 + years relevant Mechanical Draughtsman experience, Matric. Mechanical Engineering Diploma / B.Tech. Valid drivers license. Well presented and spoken, with good communication skills. May need to travel locally for measuring of equipment. Candidates with a stable working history will be considered (no job hoppers).

Candidate must be very hands on in order to get involved with the development application in the design and testing phase.

Experience with: AutoCAD and Inventor drawings. Compiling of drawing libraries and title block. Managing drawing registry and issuing. Compiling of site file, operating manuals and blower coil dressing list (in-house training will be provided). Compiling of operating manuals (in-house training will be provided). Formulate conceptual design of products. Generate cost sheets. Specific aluminum and plastic tool die design.
