Accounting Clerk and Sales Assistant

There are branches in Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Currently, we are searching for an Accounting Clerk & Sales Rep. Here is a brief summary of the job:
4 days per week as accounting clerk & admin support, 1 day per week on the sales floor (Mon-Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm)
Provide support for the coding and admin of customer invoices
Follow up via email & phone calls on past due invoices.
Detailed data entry, and processing invoices/statements monthly
Balancing sales & cash outs daily
Other office admin & clerical duties as assigned (ie: answering phones, filing, mail outs, etc)
Engage & assist sales team and customers as needed
You must have:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to establish priorities
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook & Internet Explorer
Process/Detail oriented mindset
1 year accounting experience, and understand the full accounting cycle
Customer service/sales abilities, or enthusiastic to learn
Willing to learn about a specialized product in the construction industry
Starting wage is $15.00/hr, with a good benefits package at 3 months.
