Taxi Driver
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $12.00 hourly for 35 hours per week, Commission
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Whitehorse, Yukon Territory (4 vacancies )

Education: Not applicable
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Taxicab driver certification, Driver's license, Municipal taxi driver permit
Experience: Will train
Type of Driver's Record: Driver's abstract
Taxicab and Limousine Drivers' Skills: Provide pickup and delivery services, Assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles, Collect fare, Record transactions, Provide basic tourist information, Attend to complaints or difficult passengers, Operate dispatch systems, Operate two-way radios
Additional Skills: Clean and make minor repairs to vehicle, Take vehicle for servicing, Assist passengers with special needs
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Communication, Working with others
