Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Relevant Tertiary Qualification. Must have previous experience within the Retail Industry. Matric with Maths. Computer literate – MS Office, Profiency in Excel. Experience on Dolfin – Essential. Strong business acumen and merchant thinking. Good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities, Amongst Others, Will Include: Allocation of stock – ensuring optimal allocations based on stock on hand and product type. Ensuring stores are stocked efficiently avoiding over or understock. Allocation of product to stores. Monitoring stock levels, replenishing stock according to store sales. Timeous replenishment of stock.

Liaising with Distribution Centre and Operations. Keeping up to-date with product trends. i.e. monitoring slow performing stock and over stocks accordingly and communicating this to the relevant stores. Liaising with buyers and planners.
