Kitchen Supervisor Position – R6000PM CTC Neg. Pinetown, West Suburbs. Do you have experience in managing kitchen operations in a take-away? Mustang Curry House is a retail take-away and restaurant like no other – we are uniquely focused on delivering amazing food and outstanding customer service experience, partnered with an amazing range of drinks, snacks, large meals and more. We’re looking for energetic and eloquent English-speaking individuals to uphold our high quality, consistency and excellent presentation of our brand and products in a full-time permanent supervisor position for our store in the heart of Pinetown.

Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 Senior Certificate. Computer literacy – Office Suite (GAAP POS Advantageous). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in kitchen and or HMR, preferably as a supervisor, or similar. Must be aged 35 years old or older. A passion for food and quality inspection / presentation.

Shift-work is compulsory and required – Extended hours / public holidays. Must be able to work unsupervised with self-directed initiative. Must possess a friendly, sociable, extrovert personality with excellent communication skills. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans. Must have access to or have own reliable transport.

Duties (not limited to): Kitchen Supervision – Ensuring orders are completed and delivered meticulously. Quality Control – Ensuring all meals are at the required standard for consumption. Operations Participation – Involvement in daily running of store / events. Kitchen Staff Supervision – Ensuring staff are present and following the company COC. Inventory Control - Daily stock take and reporting. Driver’s Licence, residing in Pinetown area and barista experience advantageous including a cover letter and a most recent photo of yourself, and reasons as to why you feel you would be best suited for the position.
