Financial Manager, City Centre, Cape Town. Our client, a leading full-service law firm, is offering an opportunity to an experienced, finance professional with relevant industry experience at their head office in the heart of Cape Town.
Responsibility: The Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely deliverable of financial accounting returns and ensure accounting, compliant to the relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Performance Areas: Preparation of financial statements in terms of IFRS. Audit Preparations. Manage a dedicated Accounting team. Maintain internal controls. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Preparation of annual budget, controlling and monthly reporting on budget. Statutory compliance. Maintaining computerized Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system.
Nominal control account reconciliations. Trust bank account management. Ad hoc financial administrative duties as requested by Directors.
Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar qualification (ACCA or CA/CPA or AGA). Preferable completed articles with at least 3 years of working experience in legal finance and accounting. Solid accounting technical foundation in IFRS. Strong management experience and the ability to foster excellent working relations. Top tier interpersonal and communication articulation are essential.
