This is an operational role providing technical support to our clients in the Hospitality industry (restaurants), during office hours as well as after hours when on call.
Requirements: Grade 12. Must have an IT Technical Support background (essential). Must have at least 3 years experience in the IT field. IT qualification is preferable (N+ and A+). Windows networking experience. Previous experience in hospitality is a huge plus. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (non negotiable). Must be willing to work irregular hours (hospitality hours), and to travel long distances. Highly Preferable: MCSA, MCSE, Windows 7, Network Administration, Network Cabling, Point Of Sale experience, TCP/IP, SQL.
Responsibility Duties: Installation of new computer systems and solutions for the hospitality industry. Training of customers on installed computer systems and software programs. Support, troubleshooting and resolution of call outs relating to installed software programs and hardware on customers site. Software programming. Finding solutions and adapting software for best use within customer environment.
Salary: R 15 000 R 19 000 CTC Basic R 12 500. Car Allowance R 3 000. Stickers R 1 000. Petrol Card R 2 250. Incentive R 2 500. Standby – R 550 per week. Phone, Laptop, Data Card. Commission For installations starting at R 350 for a single terminal site. 50% of Medical Aid capped at R 3 250 with Discovery.
