Medical Receptionist, Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Contract. We are seeking an articulate, punctual and experienced Medical Secretary for a medical practice on a contract basis. Minimum of 2 years experience required.
Requirements: Traceable references with a min of 2 years experience. Be educated to Matric level. Have reliable transport. Be honest, reliable and hard working. Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Clear ITC and criminal record. Be able to commit to a 5 full day week and overtime when needed.
Job Description and Skills: Maintain a professional work ethic at all times. High level of computer skills. Professional corporate appearance with impeccable manners. Strong ability to multi-task with ease. Good interpersonal skills and empathic when dealing with patients. Must be able to handle stress of a fast paced working environment. Methodical and organised and be able to work on paperless system. Manage doctor's diary and work load. Liaise with medical aid companies and hospital staff. Good knowledge of ICD10 codes and medical terminology. Experience with medical aid billing. Data capturing with 95% accuracy and min 60 words per minute. Transcripts and Dictaphone typing.
