Job Summary: Fibre Optic Technician Splicer (FTTH), Telecommunication, Cape Town. We are actively seeking a highly Motivated Fibre Optic Technician (FTTH) ,OTDR testing, loop joints, dome joints, patch panel termination for immediate employment in0 Cape Town.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Attend to Service requests which include but are not limited to FTTH installations, FTTH fault finding and resolution.
Documenting work activities: Applying strict environmental, health, and safety requirements. Driving company supplied vehicle to client sites Looking after tools and equipment provided by and belonging to the Company.
Carry out duties in accordance with customer specifications and the health & safety act. Maintain and safe guard all company assets and equipment. Inform the supervisor when premises are not accessible. Willing to undergo training and certification program. Maintaining confidentiality of customer and company sensitive data.
Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate. Valid South African driver’s license. At least 3 years driving experience. At least 1 – 2 years splicing & testing experience. Preferred Qualifications and experience. Fibre optic certificate (FOA). Ability to drive to job locations throughout Cape Town. Salary: Negotiable according to experience and please attach ID, Drivers License and any supporting documents. Only candidates who meet the minimum criteria will be considered.
