Location: Wynberg & Plumstead, Southern Suburbs, Job Type: Temporary Bowler. Plastics (Pty) Ltd is a custom moulder in rigid plastics. Bowler started supplying rigid plastic articles to the South African market in 1972. From humble beginnings, the company has grown into one of the leading players in our industry. Bowler Plastics is a subsidiary to Bowler Metcalf Limited, which has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 1987. Our customers include a wide range of South African national companies.
We are currently in the process of building an available labour pool for 2020 as Packers/General Workers, on a fixed term basis. The main purpose of the above mentioned role is to ensure product manufacturing is quality checked, approved and all packaging and process instruction are adhered to, and in line with customer specification. Interested candidates should be willing and able to work shifts.
Key Qualifications & Experience: Successfully completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification. No previous work experience is required. Key Competence: Teamwork and Co-operation. Self-Management. Product and Service Quality. Determined to succeed. Strong attention to detail. Reliable and dependable.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Pack production according to specification. Check quality of production in line with customer approv ed sample. Responsible for correct labelling of boxes and information noted on labels. Follow and maintain correct process control at machine. Identify problems and report immediately. Record waste and the quantity thereof. Maintain housekeeping standards. Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
