Responsible for day to day. IT related tasks Ideal candidate would be Strongly customer service orientated. An effective communicator with staff at all levels in the business With an ability to translate IT terminology into the user friendly terminology. Highly organized, hands on, disciplined, punctual, honest and of sober habits. Have an eye for detail and accuracy. Requires an infallible ability to work well under pressure. Job Specification: IT systems support and administration. Provide technical support. (End-user, infrastructure support and maintenance). Assist staff with IT related issues when called upon

Respond to IT issues: hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc. Adhoc IT related request. Liaising with vendors w.r.t end user requirements (Capex requirements). Co-ordination of support activities. Inventory /Asset management Change control management. Liaise and manage vendor callouts /call logging. Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment. Hardware maintenance program Software system installation for various applications and programs. Carrying out other duties as may be requested by management

Basic Active directory management across networks liaise with Group IT. Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (according to Group IT policies.) Check computer hardware (HDD, etc.) to ensure functionality. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications. Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance liaise with Group IT. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems liaise with Group IT. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.

Assist with ongoing support of new software and features. Perform daily data backups. Assist with Servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computers repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more liaise with Group IT. Salary Market related.
