Hairstylist - Location: Durbanville, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Looking for an experienced hair stylist. Upmarket hair and beauty salon. Northern suburbs.

Salary Package: Basic salary or commission sliding scale. 10% commission on retail sold. Trading Hours: Mon-Fri. 09:00 till 18:00. Saturday 09:00 till 16:00. Closed on Sundays and select public holidays. 1 Full weekend off per month. 6 shifts per week. Must be flexible to accommodate occasional overtime based on operations.

Qualities: Always maintain cleanliness of the salon and stations. Highly presentable and groomed to suit the industry. Fluent and confident in English. High regard for guest service and relations. Target driven. Team player with positive attitude. Punctual and committed.

Qualifications: Qualified hair stylist with proven qualifications. Certified to perform all treatments/ trade test. Qualified to perform all standard ladies styling and colouring treatments.

Experience: Experience with working with all textured hair types. Previous experience with working in a salon. Able to work with Chemical straighteners.

Bonus Skills: Hair Extensions. Make up. Nails i.e. manicures and pedicures, Gel app and nail extensions.

Duties: All basin duties (Wash and massage). Perform all hair treatments. Cutting. Styling (Blow dries, Flat iron, Tongs, up do’s etc.) Colour (various including Highlights, Lowlights, Ombré, Sombré, etc.) Brazilian or similar treatments. Retail.
