Magazine layout/graphic designer – wanted, Location: Tokai, Southern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. The publishers of Caravan and Outdoor Life, Kamp en Karavaan, and SA4x4 magazines, as well as The Great Outdoors Guide and Die Buitelewe Gids, is looking for an experienced magazine layout/graphic designer. The principal role will be the layout and make up of pages and adverts for all publications within a team. The position is based in an office park in Westlake, Cape Town southern suburbs, with off street parking, in a comfortable work-environment.

Requirements: Excellent Adobe CS skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Previous magazine experience. Creative, work quickly with accuracy.

Excellent attention to detail: Able to work in a team (this is a work from office post). Proficient in Apple-based systems and software. Ability to accurately edit images, i.e. colour correction, etc. Aware of current layout and design trends. Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines. Good written and verbal communication. Salary: R13 000 depending on experience.
