Location: Somerset West, Helderberg, Job Type: Full-Time. Event Sales Assistant Required. Company: Downing Event Hire. Area: Somerset West. (Candidate must reside in either Somerset West/Strand/Gordons Bay). We are looking for an industry experienced and compassionate lady with the following criteria: 5+ years events supervisory experience or experience in a similar industry – event hiring, event coordination and/or hospitality.

Ability to understand the principles of sales, customer interaction and telephone etiquette Experience in telesales and marketing would have an advantage.

Personal/Other Criteria: Self-motivated, proactive, independent woman who loves a challenge and unafraid of hard work. Positive attitude and friendly behavior Effective communication and customer relationship skills. Effective computer literate skills. Strong time management skills. Own car and valid driver license.
