Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. Manage and ensure the Inventory is well organised and controlled to sufficiently supports the sales and the goals of the Business turnover.

Implement improvement processes and maintain policies. Implement the Companies Policies and Procedures within the inventory department and ensure that it is strictly adhered to. Keep track of inventory and stock that needs restocking at the same time avoiding overstocking and stock outs.

Checking of stock received from supplier, GRV’s. Mange short stock/ back orders issues with suppliers. Manage Stock takes, cycle counts, replenishment and shrinkage. Control and Report of stock Audits/ and investigations. Manage warehousing and distribution of goods. Management of supplier relationships and maintenance of the supplier database. Competitor analysis/market scanning.

Ensure correct stock is loaded in the correct delivery trucks and round route is planned effectively. Create and maintain a detailed stock list of all incoming stocks. Compilation of damaged stocks. Monthly/ weekly stock takes (depending on the level of shrinkage). Conform to all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Standards. Drive continuous improvement measures within your department. Monthly KPI reports on Stock Movement/ Losses/ Issues/ Costing.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Attributes: Grade /Matric, Analytical ability, Organized and detailed oriented with proven 5 plus years’ experience of managing inventory. A proactive, accountable self- starter. Passionate about customer service. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint). Strong knowledge and understanding of inventory control / warehouse management systems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills or a demanding and customer focused working environment. if you have the above qualifications and experience
