Au Pair Location: Hout Bay, Atlantic Seaboard, Job Type: Part-Time. Children: 1. Age: 3. Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Times: 12:30pm - 17:00pm. Start Date: 6th Jan 2020

The Au Pair must have the following: Must be over the age of 35 years old. Must have a minimum of 1 year childcare experience. Must have a valid drivers license & reliable vehicle. Must speak Afrikaans and English. Must have contactable references. See below the Minimum requirements to become an Au Pair. A love for working with children. A Matric certificate. 19 years and over. A South African ID number or a valid work permit. A valid drivers license and reliable safe vehicle. Previous Au Pair or child related experience (at least 1 year experience, no family reference). No criminal record. Contactable references (At least 2 contact numbers and 1 written reference) Salary: Up to R100 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibility: Fetching their child from school (My Montessori Eco School), giving her lunch, taking her to activities/playdates. Stimulating her with play and reading when at home. Occasional babysitting and possibly longer hours in school holidays. French or Spanish speaking is a bonus

The child has been brought up on routine. Also with the avoidance of unhealthy eating as much as possible. She enjoys ballet and gymnastics but loves swimming so when weather permits is very frequently in the swimming pool. The Family has 1 dog and 2 cats and so the Au Pair must be a animal lover.
