Craft Productivity Manager

We are currently seeking Craft Productivity Manager candidates for an opportunity based in Kitimat, BC. You will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction companies.
The Craft Productivity Manager will guide productivity improvement on the Kitimat LNG project to manage and monitor work performance, safety and productivity of craft employees and subcontractors. This position will ensure activities are being performed within budget, following appropriate safety guidelines and are being performed on time.
Tasks will include:
Work Measurement - improve productivity through the systematic observation and measurement of craft activity.
Methods Analysis - perform analyses, studies, and evaluations.
Advise the project of any schedule obstructions, or productivity challenges.
Craft labour productivity through alternate execution methods and developing of incentive programs.
Collaborate with construction engineering
Work Process Improvement (includes but is not limited to):
Overall construction execution planning/work preparation.
Site Logistics and Facilities Planning - includes the placement of offices, support locations, the warehouse, material lay-down areas, tool-rooms etc.
Feasibility Studies - identifies project and employee issues and determines cost effective solutions.
Material Handling and Flow - identifies material receiving, storage, and distribution issues and recommends effective solutions.
Planning and Information Flow - identify work-face-planning issues and recommend effective solutions.
Value Creation Programs, Engage the work force by creating an environment of innovation and cost consciousness.
Best Construction and Maintenance Practices (including but not limited to):
Improve project performance through the application of best practices during project planning and execution.
Manpower Loading - review the numbers of craft (and their skill mix) assigned to a task.
Foster and drive innovation.
Basic Job Requirements
Ability to work closely with project managers, supervisors, craft, and support personnel to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ability to implement practices designed to increase productivity, improve project execution, meet predicted schedules, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
Previous experience working with craft and construction management.
A four year degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 15 years of field construction and project management experience
