Mechanic Fitters for Shipping Company, City: Dubai, Industry: Shipping, Career: Mid Career, Job Type: Full Time, Gender: Male. A Leading Shipping company is looking to hire Mechanic Fitters Job Location – Dubai Salary – AED Upto 2000 + Accommodation + Food Allowance +OT.

Job Responsible for work allocated from foreman, on-board as well as in workshop. Overhauling and repair of different mechanical items which is on-board a ship such as: Turbines, Engines, Compressor, Winches, Windlass, different Valves etc.. Dismantle and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts on AC and DC motors, generators and all types of pumps. Experience in reading, measuring and using instruments (Micro meter SG, Vernier Callipers etc). Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, electrical cables. Experience in use of pullers both mechanical and Hydraulic. Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.. Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head. Experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar field of work. Education. Technical Diploma / Trade Certificates.
