Admin Support Officer, Kookaburra Kids Foundation, Sydney, Southern Suburbs & Sutherland Shire, Salary, $60,000 plus super and salary packaging. Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation is a growing, exciting not for profit organisation providing an exceptional service and support to children who live in families affected by mental illness. We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic person to fill the role of Admin Support Officer.
The Admin Support Officer will be responsible for the administrative tasks of the programs and community engagement departments. The position is based in Miranda. This is a full time position starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities: Coordination of the administrative tasks of the AKKF programs in accordance with AKKF policy and procedures, ensuring mitigation of risk to the organisation; Collation of all program documentation required for each program; Database management; Low level triaging of new child referrals; Responding to incoming calls regarding intake procedures and questions; Volunteer screening, reference calls, criminal checks and Working with Children’s Checks; Coordination of the administrative tasks of booking volunteers for programs in accordance with AKKF policy and procedures and; Stocking and distribution of collateral for Community Engagement Coordinators.
Desirable Competencies and Experience: Excellent attention to detail; Highly regarded working in a NFP that deals with volunteers; Highly regarded if previous experience working within a recreational business; Team management and collaboration skills; Problem solving skills and; Excellent computer systems and database skills. Criminal Record and Working with Children's checks will be undertaken on successful applicants.
