Heating Systems Installer
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $26.00 to $35.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Trade Certification, 4th Period Apprentice, Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Red Seal Certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Testing, Service
Type of Establishment Experience: Residential
Type of Heating System: Oil, Wood
Type of Equipment: Burners, Motors, Pumps, Control devices
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning oil burners, Lay out and assemble oil burner heating system components, Test installed units and adjust controls for proper functioning, Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, Instruct apprentices
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driver's validity license check
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odours
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Vehicle supplied by employer
