Visitor Services Supervisor - Melbourne Zoo, Band 3 $73,713 plus super, Ongoing Full time working every second weekend. Melbourne Zoo has an exciting opportunity for a highly enthused, experienced Supervisor to join the Visitor Services team. Reporting to the Services Improvement Coordinator, you will work alongside like-minded leaders tasked with leading / coaching the front of house operations team to deliver an exceptional visitor experience with a specific focus on driving membership sales.

You will demonstrate experience in leading a team to achieve challenging sales results and have the experience, ability and confidence in effectively conducting conversations with team members who are not meeting performance and behavioural standards.

To be successful in the role you will have a high level of emotional resilience and a positive attitude.  You thrive in a busy environment with often conflicting demands.  You manage time efficiently and are an exceptional communicator confidently engaging stakeholders both within the team and the organisation.

This role requires the successful candidate to work alternate weekends and a share of public holidays. The successful candidate is required to complete a police check and hold a current working with children check.
