Junior Department Manager Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic, physically fit Junior Department Manager to head up selected departments at the Bergvliet. Garden Centre. The position will report directly to the Senior Department Manager.

Responsibilities: Managing profitability of the department. Report analysis and report writing. Management of staff in terms of HR, IR and staff development. Ensuring that merchandising and displays are of a high standard. Effective stock management in terms of optimizing branch layout opportunities. Driving  a high level of customer service.

Requirements: 2 years experience in Retail Management. Computer literate. Excellent  negotiation skills. Proven leadership abilities and management of staff. Proven people, operations and merchandise  control. Translating strategies into operational action plans. Must be self motivated and assertive. A successful track record in sales, profit management, stock management including purchase management and staff management. Must be organised, efficient, creative and assertive with strong communication skills on all levels.
