Medical Records Clerk, Port Macquarie Private Hospital, Port Macquarie & Mid North Coast, Casual position available. Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected operator of private hospitals, Port Macquarie Private Hospital is a 72 bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehabilitation facility with 6 Renal Chairs. Port Macquarie Private Hospital has established an excellent reputation in the community for its high commitment to customer service, staff satisfaction and quality improvement. Ramsay Health Care – Port Macquarie has 2 facilities incorporating Port Macquarie Private Hospital and Coolenberg Day Surgery.

The successful candidate will be working in the Medical Record Department. Department hours for the hospital are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, and shifts will be allocated to ensure these times are covered.

Essential Criteria: Previous experience working in a health care setting. Understanding of privacy and confidentiality. Extensive computer experience and knowledge. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills. Current drivers licence. Additional flexibility of applicants to fill annual leave and sick leave as required.
