Ground Hostess, Location: De Waterkant, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. Leading Air-Tourism Helicopter company looking for an energetic and vibrant Ground Hostess to join our V&A Watefront based Operations Team.

Job Purpose: Welcoming and checking in all guests. Conduct Safety Briefings, issue Tickets and perform Weight & Balance process for seating. Allocate passengers on the correct aircraft and flights. Take Reservations, do Quotations and assist with Shop Sales.

External Qualifications Required. Grade 12 or Industry Qualification. Skills, Competencies & Experience Required. Excellent English. Computer Literate and proficient in email, Word and Excel. Minimum 2 years work experience within Tourism or Hospitality.

Individual must display skills within the following fields of practice: Leadership and motivating fellow employees; co-ordinating and organisation skills; be deadline driven; be a team player with a positive attitude

Must thrive in prolonged pressure situations brought on by big passenger volumes. Excellent Customer Service skills. Must be Numerically strong. Problem solving skills and a basic level of Complaint handling. Specifications of Responsibilities.

A high quality of service delivery is required for efficient performance as follows: Exceptional Customer Service. Safety Briefings, Ticketing and Weight & balance of all passengers. Shop Sales - Selling In-Flight Video packages and all other paraphernalia. Cash management. Correct Flight Allocation. Answer telephone calls, emails and whatsapps. Make reservations. Accurate capturing and completion of daily Cash Up. Handling basic Complaints.
