Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Classroom assistant for special needs required. You’re role is to make the academic and scholastic expectations/content accessible by using the child’s special strengths and abilities and using alternative and adjusted techniques. Collaborating with teachers to develop lesson plans that meet educational standards and the specific needs of students within the classroom. In this aspect of the role, the special education teacher assistant examines classroom materials and considers students in the classroom, providing input and advice to the teacher during lesson plan development to ensure student success.

You must be able to manage difficult and disruptive behaviours and present more appropriate and positive alternative behaviors.

You need to be well organised, have good work ethic, be able to work in a team and most of all have patience and insight. Monday – Friday 7:30 - 13:00. You have school holidays. Salary: R5000.00 per month.
