Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: National Diploma. Registration with HPCSA (Health Professionals Council of SA) as a Clinical Technologist – cardiology. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Behavioural Competency. Strong personality/character. Ability to work in a pressurized environment. Be a very organized individual. Attention to detail

Duties: ECHOCARDIOGRAMS (Perform, analyse & interpret). ECG’s (Routine and Stress tests). SPIROMETRY (Lung function tests). ANGIOGRAMS – done in Cath lab. PACEMAKERS (follow up, testing and programming). T.O.E & CARIOVERSION – trans-oesophageal echocardiogram and cardioversion – assisting doctor. 24-hour ABP MONITOR (ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor) – fitting and analysis. 24-hour ECG HOLTER (fitting and analysis).
