Sales Assistant Required, Location: De Waterkant, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. We are looking for a full time Sales person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a welcoming environment to our clients. Please read the full ad before responding. Requirements: No criminal records. Proven work experience in sales with contactable references. Valid drivers licence and OWN car essential. Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours. Knowledge of indoor plant care would be advantageous. Barista knowledge would be advantageous. Be professional, organised and work quickly. Able to follow instructions. Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and positive approach to your occupation. Work well alone as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without supervision. Must be friendly, outgoing, neat and presentable at all times

Responsibilities: Assisting with walk-in clients. Liaising with clients during and after the sale. Be able to take instructions. Demonstrate advanced product knowledge. Assemble any and all product displays. Understand how to make product appeal to clients based on the environment and current trends. Follows up with clients to make sure they are happy with the product

The hours are Tuesday to Friday from 08:30 - 16:30, Saturdays from  07:30 - 14:30 and Sundays from 08:30 - 15:30. Starting date 20 August 2019. Salary between R4600 and R5700 depending on experience.
