Receptionist – Switchboard, NSW Government, Sydney, Parramatta & Western Suburbs, Salary, $30 per hour + super.

The Company: Large and rapidly growing NSW Government Org. is seeking an experienced Receptionist to support their busy switchboard and receptionist duties in their Parramatta Office. The successful candidate will need to have exceptional communication skills and experience in managing high-volume incoming calls as this government department receives close to 300 calls per day.

The Job: In this receptionist contracted new role, you will be responsible for: Being the first point of contact for all internal/external customers. Responding to a broad range of enquiries and transferring the calls when necessary. Undertaking receptionist duties when needed. General ad-hoc duties as requested.

You: To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following: At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role. Government, Call Centre or extensive Customer Service experience would be highly advantageous. Understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. Contact Centre System experience would be desirable.
