Clinical Technologist Cardiology, Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Job Type: Full-Time. Clinical Technologist – Cardiology / East London

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: National Diploma. Registration with HPCSA (Health Professionals Council of SA) as a Clinical Technologist – cardiology. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Behavioural Competency. Strong personality/character. Ability to work in a pressurized environment. Be a very organized individual. Attention to detail.

Duties: Echocardiograms (Perform, analyse & interpret). ECG’s (Routine and Stress tests). Spirometry (Lung function tests). Angiograms – done in Cath lab. Pacemakers (follow up, testing and programming).

T.O.E & CARIOVERSION – trans-esophageal echocardiogram and cardio version – assisting doctor. 24-hour ABP Monitor (ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor) – fitting and analysis. 24-hour ECG Holter (fitting and analysis).

Salary: R25k (negotiable depending on experience) + Incentives per case  (estimated package +-R45k with incentives).
