Location: Other, Northern Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Our client, a dynamic leader in the printing sector is looking to fill the position of a Cost Accountant. The position will report to the Financial Director and will be based in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

 Responsibilities: Verification of stock and labour transactions on various software systems. Hands-on following up of stock queries. Planning and overseeing quarterly stock counts. Supervision of team. Reviewing WIP for jobs to be closed. Product cost calculation when and where required Preparation of required month end reports as required. Various manufacturing and cost investigations. Liaise with production departments and management to investigate stock/production queries. Any other tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements: Relevant tertiary Degree / Diploma (within the field of Finance) A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)

Competent in MS Office (especially Excel- Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macro’ s and Micro’s) and experience in an integrated MIS package is essential

Able to multitask: Great organisational skills Attention to detail as well as accuracy Team Player but must be able to work independently as well Ability to work towards deadlines set Must be able to follow procedures strictly Reliable and punctual Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
