Credit Controlller

My client - a leading worldwide retail company based in Dublin North are currently seeking to recruit a Credit Controller on an 8 month, maternity leave contract.

Key duties of the Credit Controller

    * Actively pursue outstanding amounts on debtor accounts
    * Manage the reduction of Debtor days
    * Be able to manage a portfolio of customers while adhering to collection policies
    * Maintain a comprehensive account history with each customer
    * Build & maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and customers
    * Escalate any potential risk accounts to the senior credit controller / financial controller
    * Actively contribute to the resolution of customer queries
    * Ad hoc tasks as required

Key requirements of the Credit Controller

    * Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification is essential for this role
    * SAP experience is highly desirable
    * Previous experience in credit control essential ideally within Construction

Key competencies for the Credit Controller are

    * Strong computer literacy, Good excel skills highly regarded.
    * Be available to start immediately and commit to a contract role
    * Excellent all round communication, numeracy & negotiation skills
    * Excellent time management skills
    * Proven ability to build and manage strong working relationships both internally and externally
    * Ability to prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction
