Location: Umhlanga, North Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience, with the ability to handle the full accounting function to Balance Sheet. Degree / Higher Diploma required in Accounting. The successful applicant must be fully computer literate, particularly in Excel and Pastel. Great Data Entry Skills. Excellent knowledge of Bookkeeping Principles. Must be able to hit the ground running

Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records on Pastel. Creditors/Debtors. GL capturing and posting correctly, including pre-payment journals and monthly provisions. Bank and cash-on-hand capturing and Reconciliations. Inventory Capturing. VAT calculation and monthly returns. Processing of payroll. Submission of the necessary monthly returns. Processing and Managing accounts payable including payroll runs. Invoices and Managing accounts receivable. Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts. Audits – attending to audit queries. Must be available immediately. Salary; R9000k + Benefits + Incentives.
